Peer Support Pilot Program Sees Strong Participation Across Local Lodges
Last week, members from across multiple Local Lodges and Districts came together to take part in a new Peer Support Pilot Program focused on mental health, connection, and support within our Brotherhood.
The pilot program exceeded expectations, with 21 participants representing L203, L73, L271, L128, L555, L146, L359, L191, D10, and D11. The strong turnout reflects the commitment of our members and Local Lodges to prioritizing mental health and supporting one another both on and off the job.
Participants brought motivation, passion, and a shared desire to help build a meaningful foundation for peer support within our organization. This important initiative is intended to provide long-term support for members facing mental health challenges, substance use concerns, or other personal crises, ensuring that any member who is struggling has a fellow Brother or Sister they can turn to for help.
Thank you to all Local Lodges, Districts, and members who supported this pilot program and helped make it a success. More information will be shared as the Peer Support Program continues to develop in partnership with participating Local Lodges and Districts.
