Recent Mill Closures / Letter Templates for MLA’s

We understand the concerns many of our members have regarding the recent closure of Howe Sound, along with the many other mill closures we have seen in recent years.

As discussed at the September Membership Meeting, we have created a template letter that members can use to express their concerns to their Members of Parliament or other levels of government.

The template is also available in the Members Only section of our website under the Meeting Summary.

This letter is provided for reference purposes only. Members are welcome to copy it, make any changes they feel are appropriate, or draft their own letter entirely.

We encourage our members to make their voices heard and advocate for the future of our industry and communities.
