The 2008 Boilermaker Golf Tournament at the Golden Eagle Golf Club in Pitt Meadows has come and gone once again. Shotgun start was at 1:30 pm and the tournament came to a close at approximately 6:00 pm, with the dinner and awards banquet following. I would like to extend a special thank you to all of those who contributed and attended the tournament.

It was great to see Brother Stuart Wymer out on the course, golfing once again with his dad and friends. Please check out the photo slide show there are a couple great shots of Stu.

This year’s foursome of Steve Rice-Jones, Rudy Dorn, Doug Brown and Gordon Reilly shot a group low score of 62 and were awarded the Robert M. Macintosh Trophy. “Closest to Pin” trophy was awarded to Steve Hall and the “Long Drive” trophy was awarded to Hank Devries. The “Most Honest Team” was Mike McLaughlin and Margaret Clark.

Photos from the tournament have been added to the “Photo Album” page or you can click here to view them. One note about the photo album pages, all albums are now incorporated into slide shows. There are several options to run the slide show, (1) you can click on the thumbnail at the bottom of the viewer to see an individual picture, (2) you can click on the small icon on the bottom left hand corner of the viewer to watch the full slideshow one frame at a time, (3) if you click on the larger image in the viewer you will be able to view the larger version of the jpg on a new page.

Thank you and enjoy the show
